Mentor Schools' Career Academies: Making CTE Accessible for All Students
During this month’s episode of the Ohio College Tech Prep Podcast, host Matt Cola of the Northeast Ohio Tech Prep Region, and Kent State University interviewed Dr. Joseph Glavan. The two discussed Mentor School District’s Career Academies, which just received a $2.2 Million Grant for Career Technical Education.
These Academies were designed to give all students in the district an opportunity to engage in career exploration, regardless of their schedule, by incorporating industry-recognized credentials into the currently existing district curriculum.
